Get ready to glow from within and embrace your natural beauty all summer long!

Step 1: Prep & Prime

Prepping and priming the skin is the secret to achieving a flawless look. Before diving into the world of foundation and concealers, it's crucial to create the perfect canvas. Start your routine by prepping the skin. I personally use Fresh Beauty's Rose Deep Hydration Oil-Infused Serum for a dewy finish. Then, brighten under my eyes with Rose Inc's Eye Brightener Cream. Lastly, I prime my skin with Bobbi Brown's Vitamin Enriched Face Primer to ensure a smooth and long-lasting makeup application. These products without fail get me a flawless base that sets the stage for a stunning natural look.

Step 2: Foundation & Concealer

Now, let's dive into one of my favorite foundations for a radiant summer look: the Rose Inc Skin Illuminator. This lightweight, non-matte foundation is the key to achieving a dewy and natural complexion that will make you glow from within. Here's how I like to apply it:

  1. Dispense and Dot: Squeeze a small amount of the foundation onto the back of your hand. Then, using your fingertips or a brush, dot the foundation onto your forehead, cheeks, chin, and nose.

  2. Blend with Fingertips: With clean fingers, gently blend the foundation into your skin using upward and outward motions. Focus on areas that need more coverage while keeping the overall application light and natural.

  3. Build as Desired: The Rose Inc Skin Illuminator is buildable, allowing you to customize the coverage according to your preference. If needed, apply an additional thin layer to areas that require extra attention.

  4. Set Strategically: To maintain the dewy finish while ensuring longevity, set only the areas that tend to get oily or require additional hold. Use a finely milled powder and a fluffy brush to lightly dust your T-zone or any areas prone to shine.

After you’ve applied your foundation use your concealer to brighten certain parts of your face. This helps your eyes look brighter and shows the definition for when you add your bronzer. I would recommend going 3 shades brighter than your foundation.

Remember, less is often more when it comes to achieving a dewy look.

Step 3: Bronzer and Blusher

Now, let's take your makeup to the next level by adding dimension and a touch of summer warmth with bronzer and blusher. These two products are essential for creating a sculpted and radiant look. Here's how to use them effectively. I personally use the bronzer Seychelles by Rose inc and the blusher Azalea By Rose inc.

Start by choosing a bronzer that is only slightly darker than your natural skin tone. This will help create a subtle shadow and add depth to your features. Using a fluffy bronzing brush, apply the bronzer in a "3" shape along the temples, under the cheekbones, and along the jawline. This technique will give your face a beautiful sculpted effect and create a natural-looking shadow. You can also Manipulate your features for example: If you want to make your forehead appear smaller, lightly sweep bronzer along the hairline. For a slimmer nose, apply a small amount of bronzer on the sides of your nose, blending it out seamlessly. To create the illusion of higher cheekbones, apply bronzer just below the cheekbones and blend upward.

Rosy Blush for a Natural Lift: Next, let's add a pop of color to your cheeks with a rosy blush. Smile and apply the blush to the apples of your cheeks, blending it gently upward toward the temples. This technique will give your face a natural lift and a youthful flush. Choose a shade that complements your skin tone and adds a touch of warmth to complete your radiant look.

Remember, bronzer and blush work together to enhance your features and add depth and vibrancy to your complexion. Embrace the sculpting effects of bronzer and the natural lift of blush to achieve a radiant and glowing look that is perfect for any occasion.

Step 4: Eyebrows and eyeshadow

Fluffy Brows: For a natural and on-trend look, aim for fluffy brows. Brush your eyebrows upward using a spoolie brush to create a fuller appearance. If you have any gaps or sparse areas, use a brow pencil or cream in a shade that matches your hair color to fill them in with gentle, feathery strokes. Focus on enhancing your natural shape rather than creating harsh lines. Remember, the goal is to achieve a soft, well-defined brow that complements your face.

Eyeshadow: This is quite important to achieve a more natural look! Opt for an eyeshadow palette with a mix of brown and warm tones, similar to the bronzer you used earlier. These shades will enhance the natural warmth of your skin and add depth to your eyes. Start by applying a medium brown shade all over your eyelid as a base color. Then, use a slightly darker shade in the crease to create dimension. Blend the colours seamlessly to avoid any harsh lines. (Most of the time I just use my bronzer as the eyeshadow!).

Step 5: Finishing Touches

To complete your look, we have the final step that adds a touch of finesse and sets everything in place. Say hello to baking powder! For areas prone to oiliness, I reach for the HB Cosmetics Baking Powder in shade Fair. After applying the powder using a puff, I let it sit while I move on to enhancing my lashes and lips.

Mascara shouldn’t be too heavy, and the lips should be a soft shade of pink/brown. I REALLY like the refy products for the lips, and shade Fawn or Rosewood is a beautiful colour for a natural look.

Once my lips are all set, I gently blend in the baking powder using a soft powder puff, ensuring a seamless and airbrushed finish. This step not only helps control oil shine throughout the day but also gives my makeup longevity, keeping it fresh and flawless for hours on end. If I feel I want to be extra glowy, I will apply a tiny bit of highlighter on the tip of my nose, on my eyebrow bones, cheekbones, and just above my cupids bow.

With this final touch, your makeup look is complete, leaving you with a radiant complexion, defined eyes, and perfectly pouty lips. So go ahead, step out with confidence, and enjoy your stunning makeup masterpiece that will turn heads wherever you go!
