Review of our stay in Numo Lerapetra

Located in the heart of Lerapetra, Greece, the Numo Hotel is a charming and modern hotel that offers guests a comfortable and memorable stay. With its prime location, luxurious amenities, and stunning views of the Mediterranean Sea, the Numo Hotel is the perfect choice for travellers looking for a relaxing and stylish vacation in Greece.

What is Numo about?

The Numo Hotel boasts a range of luxurious amenities, including a swimming pool with sun loungers, a fitness center, a sauna, and a rooftop terrace with panoramic views of the sea and the town. The hotel also offers a delicious breakfast buffet each morning, with a wide range of fresh and local ingredients, as well as a bar where guests can enjoy refreshing cocktails and light snacks throughout the day.

The hotel's rooms and suites are spacious, modern, and elegantly decorated, with comfortable beds, high-quality linens, and all the amenities necessary for a comfortable stay. Each room has a private balcony or terrace with stunning views of the sea or the town, and some even feature a private hot tub or plunge pool for guests to enjoy.

What we expected?

While the hotel in itself is great, our recent stay left us wanting more from the town outside its premises. Unfortunately, the surrounding area didn't meet our expectations. The local dining scene, in particular, fell short of our hopes, with below-average food options that lacked the authentic flavors we were seeking, which meant we had to rely on the hotel, which luckily was fantastic.

When selecting a hotel, dining experiences play a crucial role in our decision-making process, and we found ourselves disappointed. Consequently, we wouldn't recommend staying in Ierapetra for more than four nights, as there are other Greek destinations that offer a more satisfying culinary adventure.

What we experienced?

When it comes to unforgettable hotel experiences, the staff at Numo Hotel are truly exceptional. Their unparalleled dedication and outstanding customer service make a world of difference for guests. From warm greetings upon arrival to personalized recommendations and prompt assistance throughout the stay, these remarkable individuals go above and beyond to ensure every guest feels valued and pampered. The genuine care and attention provided by the Numo Hotel staff create an atmosphere of warmth, comfort, and unmatched hospitality. What we got up to?

As mentioned previously, the hotel does not offer that much activity wise as a whole for your stay. They do have an outside Cinema to enjoy in the evenings ( but was unfortunately too cold for us in May), Scuba Diving, Spa treatments, romantic dinners on the beach ( but was too windy ) and a DJ that plays quietly on some days. Most of these activities require good weather, so we were a bit unfortunate, however we were a bit cheeky and walked to the all inclusive next door which had a show on every evening. Sorry Numo!

While our stay at Numo Hotel was delightful, the weather did have a slight impact on our overall experience. With more favorable weather conditions, our experience would have been even more enjoyable, we did enjoy a good game of tennis, even though my partner bruised my hand. He is a tad competitive. We would have (maybe) gone to the gym inside the resort, but we didn’t pack any trainers or gym gear, which was a bit of a mistake.

The hotel's splendid amenities and exceptional service still managed to create a wonderful atmosphere, but better weather would have added an extra touch of magic to our stay.

In conclusion

Our stay at Numo Hotel was a memorable experience. While we thoroughly enjoyed our time at the hotel, we would consider a shorter stay next time due to the surrounding area. Although the hotel itself offered a haven of comfort and relaxation, the nearby attractions and amenities in the surrounding area were limited. However, we would gladly return to Numo Hotel to indulge in their exceptional hospitality, AMAZING FOOD, and enjoy a shorter, rejuvenating escape.
